Prime Gym Turf Guide
Gym Turf Flooring
Custom gym turf flooring turns any space into a high-performance training zone. Built to your size, colours and branding, our UK-made gym astro turf is engineered for sled pushes, sprints, functional training and everyday gym use.
What Is Gym Turf Flooring?
Gym turf flooring — sometimes called gym astro turf — is a heavy-duty artificial turf surface designed specifically for training environments. Unlike ordinary flooring or rubber matting, it's built to take the punishment of sled and prowler work, resisted sprints, functional circuits and free-weight training, while looking sharp and professional.
It's the surface you see in premium commercial gyms, PT studios, strength-and-conditioning facilities and high-end home gyms. It defines a training zone, protects the floor beneath, and instantly lifts how a space looks and performs.
Why Choose Turf Over Rubber Matting?
- Built for sleds — turf gives the ideal surface for sled push and pull work, a staple of modern training
- Custom sizing — made to your exact space, not fixed tiles with awkward gaps
- Branding — your logo, colours and markings built right into the surface
- Premium look — turf reads as high-end and photographs brilliantly
- Distance markings — add lane lines and metre markers for measurable training
Rubber matting has its place for absorbing dropped weights, but for sprint lanes, sled tracks and functional zones, turf is the surface of choice.
